Background

With savvy marketing strategy and compelling communications, Firefly Marketing helps its clients become leaders in their marketplaces. Advertising, research, planning, public relations and the full gamut of marketing materials are managed by Firefly to build its clients' businesses.

Challenge

Firefly Marketing needed a site to both showcase its expertise and perform as a 'library' of media releases for access by journalists.

Quick turnaround times can make or break a public relations campaign, so to meet tight media deadlines, Firefly's team must be able to upload media releases to the site in moments with a minimum of fuss.

Because Firefly believes every service business should share at least a little of its expertise freely, a monthly tips section was also important.

Solution

Firefly's site is presented to appeal to a business to business audience as diverse as real estate developers and engineers. The aesthetics strike a balance between the conservatism of corporate Australia and the creativity demanded of a marketing consultancy.

Beyond good looks, the Firefly site is highly functional. Media releases are housed in a database developed by Enke and populated by Firefly. Journalists routinely download large image files and can choose to download the matching Word document after viewing the release online.

The remainder of the site is equally as user-friendly; using Enke's mySite Manager, Firefly can modify the text on any of the pages without expert assistance.
